ALICIA & ISAAC
Towards the end of March 2021, we miraculously styled a beautiful old Gumtree with gorgeous floral designs. The catch to this particular wedding was, we were not physically onsite to style the tree. Unfortunately, we were unavailable for Alicia and Isaacβs wedding as we were due to service others that day - however, Laura from Sweet Little Sunday joined the team and persuaded me to take on the challenge, and so we did - and we got creative!
I decided to print off a photo of the Gumtree Alicia had her heart set on. I began to sketch out where I envisioned the flowers to be positioned. The team then arranged and styled the floral arrangements accordingly in my studio. I used a mesh wall for the flowers which I wanted to sit on the tree trunk, this helped me pretend that the flowers were facing me.
On the day of the wedding Sweet Little Sunday assisted me by setting up the flowers on site. I was able to direct her on any changes that needed to be made - thanks to FaceTime! It was a wild experience to say the least. The look and feel of the tree styling was complimented by an adorned dessert table full of beautiful blooms and La Ombre Creations signature sweet treats, that are always a feast for the eyes!
