·       Ability to clean the studio and equipment efficiently.

·       Have a full driving license and a confident driver.

·       Have demonstrated their investments in the industry by investing in their own growth and development. Such as qualifications, Tafe, CIT, online courses, etc…

·       Have had the experience of working in a busy, high-pressure environment (ie: valentines days, onsite wedding install)

Primary Duties:

·       Arranging flower orders

·       Conditioning and prepping flowers

·       Creating/ putting together installation onsite

·       Packing, and organizing sundries and candles for each event.

·       Early morning flower deliveries to hotels and residence

·       Bump in and set up weddings

·       Late night bump outs

·       Cleaning equipment, event props

·       Doing waste runs (green waste and recycling)

Other Information:

Once successful candidates have settled in, there are opportunities to expand their horizons with more exciting, creative tasks.

We highly prioritize a work-life balance for our staff and have set work boundaries to achieve this. However, it is desired that the candidate has limited commitment outside of work or can prioritize work activities as the event industry requires us to work irregular hours based on individual event requirements.

Please understand that this position is not suitable for beginners or someone who is still looking to learn floristry. I am offering a position for a professional florist as our workplace is not the time and place for candidates to learn basics. 

It is not suitable for candidates to have a floristry or event business of their own.
