HIDDEN FEAST - Midsummer
Event
The second in the series of Hidden Feast, Midsummer, was held at Four Winds Vineyard in Murrembateman.
For this event we decided to make a 5 metre long foliage canopy above the tables using gum leaves and flowers in cool colours.
Thankfully, Anisa had organised a few volunteers to assist me, so we managed to get everything done in perfect time.
It took us all afternoon to set up and Sarah from Four Winds generously provided us with pizza and wine from the venue for lunch- which was all excellent, by the way.
I have since became a regular patron of their wine! We sat there beneath the shed enjoying our break but also waiting nervously as rain started to fall. The rain slowed down a little bit after lunch, but it kept on intermittently while we continued to work on our set up. Thankfully the weather improved just before the guests arrived, and the event went ahead successfully and outdoors as planned.
